Fine dining Indian cuisine at a casual price

The food of subcontinental India is much more than just roti and curry – as anyone who has tasted a naan or tandoori might testify. The food of India varies with – and as much as – India’s landscape and soil type – and you will find the best of sub-continental Indian cuisine at Salt N’ Pepper – and at a fraction of the price you’d pay for it at a fine dining restaurant. After 16 years of living in Trinidad – 11 of them spent as a chef at one of Trinidad's leading Indian fine dining restaurant – Ajesh Jose opened Salt N’ Pepper to continue serving discerning Trinbagonians and visitors the food he loves to prepare. Trinidadians have taken to subcontinental Indian cuisine like ducks to water; Bombay Ducks, of course, not curried ones.
